From the way yours looks I would say it's a 2.5 dry chem that the PO tried to jam a larger size bending the forks at the top out. Just about any new 2.5lb will work and the usually come with a very similar bracket if not the same one. Plus if you ever need to use it, it will work.

I found a rear bench seat on Craigslist that was an upgrade from the original red bench In my m1009. Is there any intrinsic value or reasons to keep the old red one? I don't have a lot of storage space around here so I'd prefer to sell it off if there's no reason to keep it with the truck.
