    THIS is always overlooked...

No, not at all. They were 100% plug and play! All I did was dielectric grease the connections, crimp them on, plug it in and let 'er rip!

    THIS is always overlooked...

My Gen 2 light had a faint glow to it and could see it at night. When I would turn on the headlights or the fan it would get brighter. So I went ahead and replaced all the belts- same problem. I was pulling all the connections and cleaning them off and applying dielectric grease when I saw the...

LOL! Got to love these CUCV's. I did almost the same thing with my 1009 as well. We had a huge dirt mound on the property so I just HAD to climb it! The '09s will go pretty much anywhere!

    Combat Dash Lights

Does anyone have any input about seeing the needle at night with red bulbs? I am thinking about taking the plunge on switching over to red. Would like to do LED, but to me it seems like a lot of money.

    ahhhhhhh help

Do not "grease" the hood latch. Grease attracts dirt and gunk. It may work for a little bit, but will go to crap again. The one thing I have found that works best (IMHO) is Liquid Wrench Dry Lube. Clean the hood latch VERY good for all the built up gunk and crap. Spray the dry lube on all...

    Depressing day

Mistaken1 is correct. That is the easiest way to align the window after putting in new rubber. Also make sure you clean out and reapply white lithium grease to all the window track channels (the metal piece attached to the bottom of the window) and the window regulator gears. I spray silicone...

This drivers side window is driving me crazy..Embarrassed to ask for help here..

I read to lube the window channel felt with silicone spray. I did so and it made a difference. It's not as stiff, but I think I might still have the window too tight in the tracks. I am scared to run it too loose as I think it would cause a lot of slop. Any advise? Travo

    strange battery symptoms while troubleshooting

I agree, double check to make sure they put on a 24v starter. You can get a few starts out of a 12v (when hooked up to a 24v system), but it WILL lead to failure. My 2 pennies, Travo
