I kept the drums and saved money for other improvements. With the drums my truck stops just fine for what I do, But if money were no object or the drums and other components needed replaced I would probably go with the disc conversion.

And we used to joke about exhaust fluid...

The vacuum lines were bad on both my trucks and replacing them solved all my shifting problems. If your modulator is bad I have one off of my old transmission that should work.

I just swapped out the Optima in my S10 after nearly 9 years. I replaced it with a parts store name brand.
