Hate rust!!!! I had to keep digging at it :0. I guess I'll fix it the best I can. Then re-cab it in a year or two. Did find this while cleaning the instrument panel. It was way up on top of the wire bundle. My truck is a 1990, the badge is 1989. Cool huh?
Jwade. I would not take it personal. It's not an indictment against your company. It's that their have been other auction company's that have had some funny business. I.e. Rogue employee, to private bidders driving prices. So some of us are on guard because of that. Faceless auctions can make...
Im starting to think the same. There is really no way to know if your bidding against real bids. At least on GL you could see the unque identifier. You could then keep track of them and see if there was funny bids. (Lot of work and not perfect)
That's a good idea. Did you just cage the rear brakes?
Update on the pin I bought. It is the right diameter, but it is about 1 1/2" too short. It works. I just have to push it all the way in, without a pin to hold it in.
Started some rust prevention today. Ospho the rust spots, so I can paint it.
