Bjorn, I have no idea if the 084 set up is like the 032, but I use a half inch drive 12 pt. 7/8 deep socket. It is old, but is a Williams SD-1228. Oh, they still make them. JH Williams Tool Group BC

Try Westach probes probably made for that gauge. Call them up:-D EGT probes, exhaust gas temperature probes, Westach egt probes, bayonet style egt probes, clamp style egt probes. BC

The jumping back and forth from 180 to 240 would indicate to me an electrical problem in the circuit. Either the sending unit going bad or the gauge or some connection causing the gauge to get full juice and pegging it. In theory I believe the sending unit sends more or less current to the...

Yup Craig, I've got three of them hooked up already and they work fine. Once in a while though the "bailout" connectors bailout when you least expect it. BC
