Had to bypass spin on filter to get home yesterday. The Wix filter started spraying fuel out of a pinhole in the steel case. Unbelievable the strange things that can go wrong with a vehicle. Whooda thunk it? New filter waiting on rain to be kind.

I did try before replacing the tie rod end. I just kinda thought they could point out any other sloppy parts I may have missed. I havn't even tested it on pavement yet. Only gravel roads. At least it feels like the play is gone (or less). I will see if the play is gone tomorrow when I have it on...

I think it is fraud when you wrongfully take money from insurance companies, not when they take it from you! By the way, what is a state inspection? I already paid my sales tax, what on earth do they need to have their grubby fingers on my vehicle for?

I recently replaced mine and mentioned it in this thread. I ended up getting a hood to rob the insulation and set the hood aside for the next tree falling on my truck in case it hits the hood. Jbulach had the hoods. Not sure if he still does or not.

Gonna guess on that bent rod. Most likely ran into a stump or boulder when off roading. I have bent them on two civy trucks over the years. Sometimes the weeds and high grass hide them well.

Changed my right front parking light/turn signal socket. Bad internal wire or contact.

First EUC through GP, but not through GL. Auction won 6/27/17. EUC submitted to GP 6/28/17. EUC sent to feds 07/03/17. EUC approved 7/17/17. Not too long of a wait. Glad I got two on same auction day.
