There is no freewheeling on the rear winch. That switch applies pressure when winding in with no load on the cable.

Honestly I can't remember. I know it was cheaper than that per unit with shipping of 12. Give them a call. Gotta remember though you'll never use 12 with one truck in your lifetime.... I have 5 so it made sense.

It calls for oil in the TM. Also in colder weather it tells you warm the trans up before driving. 15W40 is the best all round oil by the Tm's, 10 degrees to 110 degrees.

What Monkeyboyarmy said. My 923A2 hangs up on the fuel cutoff wire, I really need to replace it, it's kinked up. I and my wife know if the truck doesn't start immediately or runs really sluggishly, the lever isn't fully forward.

Just get a complete unit from someone parting out a truck. That's what I did for my wrecker, which was missing the unit.
