I picked up this drill press. It's probably nothing special but it is milspec. The chuck shown was in the big box with it but not sure it's the correct one (it does fit on spindle).
Manufacturer is Maxwell Model DP815.
1. Looking for a manual
2. Appears a screw locks the chuck to the...
I shall add some CARNAC wisdom to this since it appears your ocular acuity is at the 1" deep x 20 mile wide view.
First, this ain't the Navy, it's for an Army vehicle database search and if you add the dashes to the database search, it crashes the search. The person searching isn't...
You may also want to check out the 2017 VIN INFO thread and read post #1 on there.
Frankly it probably should be mandatory reading for anyone signing up for this website.
Gee, might want to read one of the earlier posts. Better act quick before they shut down that thread.
If it was a Army truck you probably can get the info by posting in this thread
2017 vin info thread.
If it was from a different branch of the military that thread won't help .
Well folks CARNAC hasn't done this in years. I turned it all over to someone nicer than me and someone who doesn't have all the problems with drinking, womanizing, gambling, and womanizing. Even when I did it, the absolute #1 verboten thing to do was to PM CARNAC (and my relief nicer person...
I'm always correct. I'm also always right, I never go left. Oh, and even when I wrong, I'm right. I knew you were thinking that; after all, I am CARNAC.
Folks will be driving from Corpus Christi back to central MD sometime around Dec 18th.
Trailer is an enclosed 6 x 12 footer. Route depends a lot on the weather but they will definitely go through Knoxville to Bristol and then up I-81 to eastern panhandle of WV/central MD.
If anyone wants...
Let me reverse this, how the heck would you think they would keep you from putting them on your vehicle as long as it is legally registered and tagged? I owned two MV's in WV and they were tagged as antique. Tags were mounted, never, ever, ever had a problem. Drove them through about 30...
I got stopped in TX with the 24 ft trailer behind my F350. Guy came up and said he thought I was a hot shot. I said no, the stuff on the trailer was my own and I was on the way after I got some local info from him. That was the only recent time I've been stopped. Got stopped in the deuce...
I used to have Parkersburg, Marietta, and Watertown as well as Motown, Clarksburg, Kingwood, and Philippi as part of my sales territory. I was actually in Marietta when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. Somebody said something to me about it and I figured bad flying (after all planes...
A lot of folks focusing on registration and insurance but I would say the trifecta of what will sink this deuce driver is the added failure to inspect. Granted, most (if not all) states won't require an antique vehicle to be inspected but only if it was registered and operated in the status of...
That is correct. You couldn't have it any other way. The Army property accountability system used since the early 2000's checks across the system for duplicates in serial number and registration number. This is Army and I won't speak to the other services.
I could potentially see it in a remanufactured item. That would bring up questions on specific contract requirements that would definite require more research time than I would be interested in putting into it. The scenario from the op....I don't see it.
Not sure why this is still posted. That vehicle is mine. I grew tired of it and decided to park it there since I can only drive one at a time. Only have a dozen in a dozen different states. Prefer the power to weight ratio of the M1A2 I got and that's my daily driver.
