It is not the DMV's responsibility to make sure you follow the law . The limit is 8000 pounds . Now you know .

AV plates are good for a 8000 pound vehicle . Just because they issue them to you doesn,t make it legal .

I have a 10k switch stuck like that . I lightly tapped on the mechanics of the switch while turning the switch knob . I got it to where I need it and left it alone .

powder coating ( if done right ) is very durable . You may need to be cautious to make sure that the temperature from baking on the powder coating does not effect the product being powder coated .

GL will send you a tittle , not an SF97 . Your problem is the state will complain that being a newer truck it should have 17 digits in the serial # . The A3's do not have 17 digits . You may need to do some more digging . Even if you get something to pull it out and attempt to do so as stuck as it is you need to pull very slow . Sounds like it is stuck good and if not carefull you will break something pulling it out . you need to get the front wheels straight before you pull .
