Kentucky area get together!!!! knob creek October 2010

I saw the rental prices, i think you could rent a 30 round clip for $40 for a 9mm smg. I forget the 7.62 and 12 gauge prices (yes, they had some saiga's). but you're right, you can definitely pay one of them off pretty dang quick.

    Gl in montana any good?

depends on what you're looking for, I've seen a couple of wwII dueces around here on craigslist. Which poses another question: if the original military surplus item in question was auctioned without any export/ownership caveats, it would be exempt from current restrictions, right? You know, a...

Kentucky area get together!!!! knob creek October 2010

Jime- You might be asking the wrong question. It might be better to buddy up ahead of time with someone who has a motorhome or 5th wheel, that has a shower and flushing toilet. That being said, I'm only driving a car to the shoot.

    Ran out of fuel ):

ok, so if the ip will draw off of the tank without using the in-tank fuel pump, is it possible to run the duece without the accessory switch on, and what would be any possible ramifications to such a practice?

    Hi from SE Idaho

I'm up in Idaho Falls, I'm not the most knowledgeable person on here by far, but let me know if there's anything I can do to help! We've got a decent surplus store here in town that actually stocks vehicle parts.

    Teton Pass Deuce?

Did you have your fuel turned up? I haven't gone over the Tetons with my duece yet, but I've hit similar curves/grades at the same altitude, and sometimes it gets embarassing, doing 33 or 35...

    Teton Pass Deuce?

Good to hear you're done with the move! I remember the first time I crossed the pass, it was the middle of the night, and it didn't click in my head immediately that I had crossed the top. Made for an interesting next few curves! I was still keeping the revs high in that old ford, and...

    Time for some new belts?

Many thanks! I was hoping I wasn't going to need to rebuild a generator or alternator.:-D

    Time for some new belts?

I've worked my way into a mess with my Duece, maybe somebody can point me in the right direction. I hear an obnoxious howl/squeak when I rev up, and smells like a belt might be burning. I think this is how I got things messed up. I was tooling along the interstate, ear protection in place, and...

Hairba11's LED Headlight build (a.k.a. huffing solder fumes on a sunday afternoon)

here's an idea if those LED's turn out to run too hot: You could mass-produce those puppies as an arctic kit upgrade package! So's you don't have to worry about that freezing rain and sleet and other buggery white stuff from freezing up on your headlights and dimming you out. You could run a...
