may not be his fault . I bought a deuce from gsa this summer . They said it was a 89 . You could clearly see from the pics it was not a 89 . Still had the old style mirrors on it . It ended up being a 68 and the serial # was not correct on either .
after paying for the sf 97, tax and title it adds a good chuck of change to the $250 I paid for the trailer .
Every request for Sf 97 I have had I was given Arizona titles instead of the sf97 .
I got the desert tan one out of the same auction .Picked it up yesterday . Says on the side it runs , but I have yet to try it because of the same blizzard you are having . Picked up two 10kw gens on a trailer this morning for another SS member and pulled it home with my A3 in the snow . When...
The low pressure could be more dangerous since the pressure is what keeps the lock ring on . But guys are putting the 14 tires on stock rims which are also designed for a 10 wide rim . Are their spectators where you will be off roading ? I ould do none of the above .
The above statement needs to be given serious thought by all the guys selling bobbers with 395's with tubes and stock rims . If something happens the lawyers will sue as many people as possible . I see guys advertising they are not back yard bobbers and do everything safley , but yet the pics...
I am sure if a DOT inspector saw the way a 395"s bead fit on a A3 wheel it would not pass inspection . I think he would have less of a chance noticing that a hemmit rim has been modified .
The 395's on A3 rims is a no no . But it can be done and has been done . A 395 on a A3 rim is no worse than a 395 on a stock deuce rim . The stock rims are too narrow for 395's . It makes no sense to me to put a tube in a high dollar tubeless radial tire . If you want to do it right go with...
Without a block heater or something to keep oil warm if truck was not plugged in I would not want it to start in very cold conditions . A start up in very cold conditions with syrup as oil does not sound very good at start up and probably is not good . My deuces do not get run when it is below...
You are worrying to much . the bodyshop will find the parts you need . They will repair it to previous condition , meaning the same color . If you wanted the color changed or a complete paint job expect to pay more for a paint job then you did the truck . If the quarter needs replaced the shop...
I have put airbags on F350 dually to help out with the load of a slide in camper that used to squat the dually . I can pretty much pick my own ride height now . They are Firestone . Not a lot of work and well worth it . Hardest part was probably drilling holes in thick metal . I went with two...
I would wait for warm weather than do it outside with the charcoal filter . You will not be able to paint until you get warm weather . even eith heat in the garage an exhaust fan will suck out all the heat along with the overspray . The metal temp will be cold to start with . Just a hole lot...
I had no idea the A3's had a gov. My A3 will go right up to the 3000 rpm mark if you let it , pushing close to 60 mph . At 52 mph it reads in the 2700 rpm range .
From Madison WI to my place , 350 miles all interstate at 48-50 mph I got at least 10 mph . I had a good 1/3 tank left when I got home .
I believe my A3 does better than the A2 I would geuss my A2 to be less than 8 mpg .
