Yes M-55 & M-65 has diesel and can handle multiple semis. Watch which pumps you pull up to, as some are for the OTR guys only.
Also just South of Whittemore on M-65 is a truck stop.
Running the M36A2 over to the show shortly.................
How to get there,
Short directions are US 23 to F41 to the show.
From the south
I-75 / US -23 to US-23 (Standish) Now you could follow US 23 all the way t o F41, which will take you through Omer, AuGres, Tawas, East Tawas and through Oscoda ( with short construction detour) to F-41.
Now...
Remove driveshaft, stick your head & arms up there.
Pretty straight forward, although I would just slide a new section of brake line down the frame rail from the back,
Local Auto parts store is where I'd go.
I'm a little confused here though,
the brake line and fuel line are on opposite sides of the truck, at least that's the way they were made.
Width of W400 Identical to the M886, it is about 8 inches longer due to the 1 ton frame.
Look at the pic with the two of them, you can see where the back meets the cab is the same.
While we are on that, you can see the older ones are a bit narrower than the M886.
I'm not sure what that tag is but I doubt it's the production #, that is if you are refering to the truck in the 1st pic.
It's too old and may not be a Mark body, IIRC the owner of the red one (2nd pic)told me his 72 was built by someone else, it has a Braden winch check this thread...
That'll be a sizeable load!
Talked to some people that will be looking for Humvee tires.
and yet another asking about 900-20's.
Heard from a vendor that'l be bringing lots of vintage jeep parts, including a L134 and a Tornado engine.
Possibly the most amazing display you can imagine deployed out of a single M105 trailer. Not only is the display excellent but an education about the use of everything they have is free for the asking.
I don't know how many Military Motorcycles will be on display, but the ones that have said...
Looks good!
The M880 series trucks were the original Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicles, yet the cuck-vee nick name didn't stick 'till the Chebies came along.
