FHP told us we were doing a tripple tow amd thats a no no.
Running at 55 mph.
Passing weight station now.
Trailer weight with load is around 6k total. Trailer has military hich,dual axle with elect brake. 6 pin elect light hook-up. I have the 7 pin adapter.
Just talked to Kenny. He is working on getting me towed.
Anyone have space to store a trailer to lighten the load for the tow?

Some options.. I have a 30kw on a trailer that im pulling. Could drop the generator at another members place and drive my truck up on the trailer. All i would need is a tow vehicle.
Some Florida members could help with the tow. I would pick up the gen next month..

Still at rest area in GA. I pulled the glow plugs to check compression. All good but the drivers sid rear glow plug tip was missing. I pulled the injector and removed half of the tip. The rest is? ??.

Broke down on I-95, south between exit 48 and 38.
I stop and got fuel. Got back on 95 and about 5 miles down the road the engine started to knock. I pulled over and poped the hood. Oil was coming out the pass side valve cover. Sounded just like what happen the first time.

Looks like my son and i will be spending the night in my truck.
Truck is still running. Why i don't know. I thought the hmmwv ip had to have 24 volts to stay open.
I only have 14 volts(back battery) front is dead.
If my truck is still running at daybreak, i will get a new battery down the road...
Gen 1 shows 8 volts and gen 2 reads 22 volts.
This was checked with a muti meter between the ground on battery and the red wire on the back of the alt.
