I used a cheap bristle brush, but as long as the hairs don't come out, it is fine. After the second coat, you won't see any brush marks. And when it dries...it is tough!
Here's what anthoer website said regarding Durabek:
"... very impressed excellent product. Its all about the prep though...
Well, I took out my trans tunnel covers and sanded with 80 grit then brush painted two coats of Herculiner. No brush marks visible and the stuff is nice and tuff! I used 1/2 can of the quart size to do the three pieces. It dries for recoat in about 1.5 hours. It is completely dry in 12 hours and...
What vehicle did the frame rails come from? I bet if you welded a removeable center support to the ground, your flexing would be limited to the local poolside!

I have an aviation map light. Do a search for aircraft map light. You'll find 24 volt lights are mil surplus.
And you can move them to "illuminate" ( always wanted to use that in a sentence!) other areas!

I have a "Responsible Agency" data plate.
It has boxes to stamp in. My question is - what do you stamp in them? (The question marks mean blank space to stamp in)

I was reading a comparison between Warn and Milemarker. The review said you had to be carefull when turning screws into aluminum housings.
They also said your hubs...
Yes DR, just like those! Whee can I get some? It sure beats the wood side and when they are bolted down, there is no expansion or rot or cracking...etc!

Also do a Google search for Lynn Steele Rubber Products. They have rubber for just about any vehicle. And the rubber quality is great. You have to watch out for the rubber out there that breaks down too fast.

I am restoring the interior of my deuce and found under all the flat paint a gloss olive color. When I removed the paint from the guage cluster, the dash was screen printed with the gauge labels over the gloss olive paint. Did these deuces come from the factory with a gloss cab interior?

Since I mainly drive my Deuce in town, I was wondering what benefits I would gain by removing the front drive shaft?
Also, what advantages do the selectro hubs offer?
Thanks,
Warren
