This is just a shout out to see if anybody wants to drive their MV in the Binghamton Saint Patricks Parade this Saturday, 3-5-2011. It starts at 1:30, but i will be there a little before 1:00. Im going to drive my Deuce, M35A2 W/W. If anybody wants to join in, let me know and we can meet up...
i dont think its a cab movement problem... i wouldnt think it would be because the throttle spring always pulls the arm on the IP forward (back to idle). if the cab did move a little, it would just make the throttle pedal move a little bit to make up the difference in the cab movement. i think...
Yea Matt, i definately share your excitement and understand that you're a good careful driver. I dont know what it is withthe deuce, but i do drive it more like an old man. its just fun being big and driving it easy. i gotta say it is cool hearing the turbo spool and make power. its not a race...
I love whistlers, but i dont know if i could take it all the time. never know until you try huh? maybe ill have to buy a deuce with a whistler sometime! ;-)
girls like deuces too.... trust me on that one ;-) its almost like the old vans they had back in the 70's!.... except, heavier, taller, wider, and a removable rear cover where the "van" would be. you're definately going to have fun with it! I agree with Dave87, its ok to ruffle some feathers as...
awesome!! keep those wheels turning! im 26 and i know what it feels to take your first drive in it. it feels huge to drive but after you get used to it, its not bad at all. you'll be squeezing that into small parking spots at school in no time! wish i had my deuce in highschool, it would have...
are we sure those are planitary hubs on that? usually there is somewhere to check the oil on them on the outside and i dont see anything. not saying its not a planitary, just saying.
i cant tell you how much i looked over trucks at Kublos until i picked out mine. i was inside them and out looking them over. thats half the fun and excitment!! I dont seem to see many non turbo trucks on here... somebody has to save a couple. haha:razz:
I know this is an old thread but i took a look ( back in August) at my throttle stop plate and everything looks ok. I dont understand th epart about moving the adjustment plate to the center again. everything seemed tight from what i could tell. the pendilum thing you talk about is the part that...
Agreed. Something about a rod sticking out the side of the block does not appeal to me. plus fuel going up, i like to cruze easy. 95% of the time im empty anyway.
yea, im sure kenny just said something like, "just drive the effin thing! no need to effin worry man!" hahaha. Those are some good guys, i should head up there and see whats new... been a while since "Test Drive Tom" paid a visit! :driver:
that would be cool having a removeable 3 point hitch on a deuce. It may be impractical, but still cool.I thought it would be neat to have a plow in the front and a 3 point snowblower in the back... that would make snow piles disappear! have to have an engine on the blower to power it seeing the...
I dunno, but my fuel gauge seems pretty accurate.... never had a problem with it running out. who knows... maybe someday it will act up and tell me i have more fuel than i actually have, not going to be fun!
oh! because of the allison. duh.... just like the A3's Hydro would be nicer than PTO.... wouldnt have to worry about shear pins... just stall the motor or pressure relief valves. its all good.
I always thought about mounting some light to the windshield frame like some TJ wranglers have. maybe that will be my summer project.:p What winch is on the front of that Canadian truck in the video? aye?
do you have any pictures of your set up? What part number is your 3 micron filter? i am thinking about re doing my used motor oil set-up i have in the truck. i wanted my system all onboard. i filter through a 25 micron, then it goes to my pump and then goes through a 10 micron. My plan is to add...
