Broke my speedometer cable. Looks like it was a brand new one the PO installed but thought it was okay to let it lay on the exhaust. Looks like as soon as the rain lets up I will be robbing one of my civy units I have up for sale. "Oh yeah, that speedometer don't work on that unit".
No work on mine lately, but it got worked. Well, barely. Used it to haul my mower to mow a cemetery. The looks it gets are priceless. Nearly everyone waves at me when I drive it.
Got my tires balanced today while in town getting my M1102 weighed, and getting plates for her. They said all tires were over 7 oz. out. Three of four rims are bent. Good thing I saved all four old GM 16.5s off a '76 1 ton (non dually) Chevy years ago. Still rides better being balanced.
Did a little drifting on the gravel road yesterday in mine with my M1102 trailer attached. Rear wheel drive drifting with a trailer takes practice but I do it a lot with my Rural King trailer hauling my zero-turn. Just dont do it too fast! Had to bring it home to clean it out to take to scales...
Nice. Here in Ohio we get out of state purchased vehicles vin verification, on every vehicle, at any car dealership. I have a friend who has a used car lot and the forms. They keep it real or their dealer's license is on the line.
They aren't EUC items. I have nearly 100 in my watch list from the last 15 months. Only the humvees and massive trucks, and the occasional screwup by government putting EUC on something like a M105 trailer.
