Exactly, Friday evening I pulled a 2wd truck out of a deep ditch back on to the pavement. I just put the transfer case in 4 wheel low, locked in the hubs and pulled it out with ease. Of course I'm still trying to figger out how they missed their driveway entrance and went into the ditch....
If you're planning on still using 33x10.5x15 tires, a lift kit is wasted $$$$. I can tell you from personal experience that even on a factory suspension with sagging springs, you will have zero rubbing on any terrain. A 33x10.5x15 fills the wheel wells quite nicely and the road ride is outstanding.
You won't need a lift with 33x10.5x15's..... I have them on my 74 K10 with sagging springs and I've never had any problems with tire rubbing... not even off road.
Lol.... the steering column needed some tightening up, so I had the same guy that repaired the steering column in my 79 K20 do it. No more sloppy shift lever...
It will never be used on the pavement. Besides, we hardly ever get winter driving conditions here in Ga. A locker in the front will be strictly off road only....

Thinking about a Spartan locker for the M1008 for the Dana 60. Factory steering and 35's.... nothing extreme. Any pros and cons?
Got the M1008 back from the spring shop and put the 35's on it. Now I have to climb in it.. lol. No rubbing anywhere on pavement, but I'll have to do a lil fender trimming just to be on the safe side for off road use.
