RE: Re: Airpack rebuild
Well, I am using air to blow the lines clear. Takes a while to get most of it. Figure to pump some DOT 3 through it and call it good.
Sure cranetruck, now you tell me what way the seals go. :D No problem, the TM is pretty clear, and had my share of rebuilding...
Finally got around to looking at the airpack. The pedal would stick going down, then let loose, causing some serious braking. Opened up the airpack, and the air side was half full of brake fluid. Guess I didn't need to lube the airpack after all! Looks like the pushrod seal was leaking.
Thanks...
Saw a M880 at a local car place, little rust around the fenders, and some light dents. Looks okay overall. I can get pics it anyone is interested. Guy says it has a 360 in it? 66,000 miles. Phone for the place is 419-683-1450. 1900.00 is what he told me.

Dang, thought I was the 6'8" guy here. I also considered streching the cab a foot or so. Right now I am looking at modifying the spring seat, or putting in a box seat. Be nice to drive and not be staring at the wiper motor. The steering wheel hasn't been an issue, It is really close thou...
RE: mod pristene m35a2 w/w or trade/buy m275 comments?? trad
I know the guy that restored the M35 on Ebay. It is a M275 with the hitch removed and a shorter trailer bed installed. Guy did a nice job, the truck is pretty clean. Don't know the current owner, truck is about 5 miles from me.

Alright! Something else to spend some money on. When you are ready, I'm interested in a basic kit.
Not sure about your filter location. Would rocks or other debris get thrown by the tire against the filter?
Is the filter base a bypass base, or are you using the stock bypass?
Cranetruck, you...
This is the first time I had a reason to go that way. Was limited in time, so didn't advertise my going. Winches are 295.00. If you get one shipped from them, it will probably be a good, but may be bent one. Don't think I will be heading that way anytime soon, but will let everyone know if I...
Picked up a winch from Adlemans for Rdixiemiller. They have about 40 M35 winches. Looks like every one of them have been picked up and dropped about 4 times. Things to look for are winch handle, cable, chain, cracks in the housing, drum lock handle, bent brackets, broken bolt holes, and shaft...
As for the cost of operating, I haven't run it enough to determine. Should be pretty cheap, I am using the low setting of the heater most of the time, and the pump motor is only 1/2 hp. Will try to get some pics of the sludge and oil after use.
Still working the bugs out, right now I am re...
This system is no more, went to a motor driven one.

My attempt at a better system of oil filtering. Thanks to Houdel for links to the Diescraft centrifuge.
The whole reason for this adventure is to use the oil as fuel...
