Installed my rebuilt 250 Cummins fuel pump

My switch shut down has never worked but I found another one of those stops that is on the end of the wire and put it ahead of the shutdown lever. Now it works like the deuce. Wayne

    Deuce Mudflaps

I didn't see anything said about NOT putting them back on. He was asking about smaller ones for single tires. It's MWO and none that I know of. Wayne

    surplus helicopters?

Probaby most flying helicopters went for state use and then into private hands. Most are pick apart for spares. I saw a old Heuy on AX MEN that had a bad landing and the company rebuilt it from the ground up because of no replacement helicopters. Wayne

Some of the manuals I see here are broken into sections, so you may still have the same problem? Would ZIP files work? Wayne

    D,O,T Troubles Anyone?

Gee, Here I was thinking, maybe because some people are "hauling my excavator with my deuce on antique plates" or "bad breaks on my trailer" and "allways overweight, brakes just passable, air lines rubbing" would be the reason they are cracking down. Never thought about the money. Wayne

No brake fluid = HOLY $#@!.... DOT 5 or DOT 3

Right, but the truck didn't stop, that tells me the front brakes are not working at all. This truck has a split system if one go out the other will/should stop the truck. On the master cylinder the rear compartment is for the front brakes and the front compartment is for the rear. The rubber...

No brake fluid = HOLY $#@!.... DOT 5 or DOT 3

Sounds as if you have NO front brakes, if you have just been using the rear to stop and use the truck a lot it is possible to vaporize brake fluid. Soft pedal may mean water in the system and could cause vapor lock. (DOT 5 Dry Boiling point is 500 degrees fahrenheit.) Wayne

    PE143 genset, fits shop van?

It said it is a 1958 model, maybe just a later version? The WWII Models are PE-143-B & PE-143C and listed with aircraft. Is your shop van for aircraft? Wayne

No brake fluid = HOLY $#@!.... DOT 5 or DOT 3

Did just adding brake fluid fix it? There should have been enough fluid in the rear chamber (rear chamber is for the front brakes)to stop it with no noticeable difference (except the brake light coming on). Wayne

For the 5t the chassis is a M812A1 and listed as 20,810 while the M820 is listed at 28,195, the M820A1 is listed as 27,895 and the M820A2 is 30,195 Subtract and that should be close. The van weight are Empty W/O Winch. Wayne

Not sure about the 5t and trailer but I would think the 5t has to be longer than the deuce. Which do you have? Wayne

Saving time airing up and down

I'm missing something, one Schrader valve is in the truck tube already, it has to be there. The only reason (that I see) the Schrader valve is on the retail one, is that it will be more available for use while on the road.

Saving time airing up and down

Not knocking your, you do good work but the one I linked to is just for two tires and it is for balancing tire pressure. That the same end result, right? Wayne
