I meant my question to the seller would be "How cheap is it" but thanks for saying.
Don't give him a chance to change his mind. Best I remember the last ones sold around here went for more than twice that.
You could never build or buy anything that cheap for just even storage. Wayne
Well if it is to big for the deuce, just buy a 5t, if too small for a deuce, buy a CUCV if it fit none of those, buy a dolly, still won't fit, sit it on the ground and call it a POL storage.
My only question would be "How cheap is it?" :) Wayne
There is/was two in Griffin GA 1-800-726-1570 or 1-866-233-3881 400.00 ea.
If you are still in service you might try the post auto repair do-it-yourself shop most bases have one and try rebuilding it yourself and they would have the few special tools you need. Wayne
Don't know of a adapter, they do make a combo that will replace the pintle and will pull civilian or military trailers.
The problem is while the truck would pull it, you still have just a lightweight bumper hitch and I imagine that is why the military has it rated so low.
Whatever trailer you...
Except for number 1 all those answers are in your TM 9-2320-289-10 and you can download a free copy from this site. It is seachable by keywords and is full of all kinds of other info. Wayne
That will happen with DOT 5 sometimes. To check the MC you will need to remove the line going to the cap then remove the cap. Be sure it is clean before removing any dirt falling in is bad news. If you have to add fluid DO NOT shake the can/bottle and pour very slow, it is hard to remove any...
I've used Fix a Flat in tube tires before and in most cases it has worked fine for me.
Sure you can take one of the rear tires off and use on the front and I have run with a rear tire flat (till I got home) and had no problems. I'm just saying I have done this, it may not work for everybody...
You can put the LT tires on those rims but you will need tubes and flaps and find someone to change them, you can do it yourself but if this is the first time it may not be the best time to try it.
1) What is the 5-lug pattern used on smaller trailers? you mean the M416? will not interchange...
Well, if you really want to trick a little old lady out of it :), I would offer to haul the dirty eyesore off for two hundred dollars and go from there. Otherwise scrap value is a good place to start. Wayne
If you want to learn, first thing is find a copy of the TMs you will need a 9-2320-289-10 and a -20 to start and a -34 is next. They are on here for a free download or paper copies can be found on ebay. Good luck and Welcome. Wayne BTW In case you didn't notice, some of us think it is blasphemy...
