    haha just bought a locker. I havnt picked it up yet. the seller bought it for some rockcrushers with 4:10 gearset. he says it will work with the 4.56's in the 1008. he has two rockcrusher housings for sale if anyone is interested

    I set up a 11gal tank with a 1/2 t on it and a 1/2 hose running to the gun, then I put a male quick connect on the hole the little hose comes out of so I can fill it with the compressor at home or the glad hand. works good. I can even remove 4 front spring u-bolt nuts with one tank of air...

    Re: RE: To Deuce or NOT I have both and I agree. for your aplication a deuce will work great. and if you get it stuck it will be easier to get out than a 5ton. plus smaller for the trails you may hit on recovery jobs.

    I just went through this and had to heat up the center section of the pin. however with the maul you may have mushroomed the bottom of the pin. I did that to another one and had to cut the mushroom part off

    it was just a little bit, spent 10minutes turning it every which way and it wouldn't fit.

    I made the mistake of bolting up the winch before the driveshaft and had to loosen it up to install the shaft. it doesnt take long to install, I lifted it up there and set it in place as my wife put a 2x4 under the top plate as a lever and adjusted it up and down so I could get the bolts lined...
