McGuyver, The shorter cable will work. When I restored my 101, I replaced both the pigtail and the underbody wiring harness. I had the same problem as you and could not find the correct one anywhere. I picked up a NOS 416 harness and pigtail from Frontline or maybe it was Saturn, and they told...

Love the dumper Jeff! Awesome looking truck! My brother painted his M109 with exterior paint using a Wagner electric sprayer. It turned out surprisingly well. He took a paint chip from one of their blackhawks and had it computer matched at a Home Depot.

Oh the joys of outdoor painting. The cottonwood trees were shedding when I did mine. I was surprised, but the fuzz rubbed right out.
