I have only run out of fuel once in a duece I had. The fuel gauge was mis calibrated by over a quarter tank. Anyway, it died as I was coming up on a fuel station. It took a few stalls and restarts to get it to the station and they did not sell diesel. The FDC had been disconnected. So whats a...
Kevin, I'm driving my M1009 and pulling the M101 trailer there. I have a couple gensets and an aircompressor to try and sell, so I should be able to bring your stuff back with me. That would be great if you were able to line the parts up with John or whoever ahead of time if possible.

Hmmmm.... you would think the electrical gauge would be quicker to respond. The slow reaction could be from the nature of the test though.
The mechanical gauge I use is instant. Literally reacts to the rpms of the engine. Give the throttle a quick stab, it spikes the needle on the gauge as well.
