No it's on 12v. I'm going to dig into the primer pump and see if it was just a tear in the hose from age. The gauge goes up to 120 and I know I'm put some pressure on it before the electric pump. Also going to look into a safety bypass to allow excess to go in the return like on hydraulic systems.
Come on, it's a thing-a-ma-gig, everybody knows that, lol
It's defiantly a sensor, the perforated sides tell me it's testing for something other than movement. Given the age I'm leaning towards radiation.
I know if you try to talk to mil radios with ham gear you need to use a ctcss tone. I spent a day figuring this out and I have it written down in one of my green books but it's easy to figure out if your rig has ctcss scanner built in.
The mil uses a non standard tone but I've been able to...
Alright today I got the seat bolted in. I figured 3 5/16" bolts will hold it just fine, lol
Got her running then ran into problem number #8675309
I put a new pump to act as a lift pump. Holly 80 gph inline pump, nice, expensive, and the best part, it worked! Well it worked a little to well...
The het is the 1070 beast.
I know all about the red clay, almost got a jeep stuck in that crap. Pulled out of all wheel drive and went through it in 2wd with no problem.
The 920 is the heavy line hauler, 915/916 are regularly used as line haulers.
The rear winch on the 916 & 920s are for...
A het will be useless unless you get a trailer specially made for it as the hitch is so far forward.
Your best bet would be 916 or 920 series.
395's are what the military considers super singles. It's a bigger tire with a wider footprint.
Now, hauling 40k in mucky terrain is going to pose...
I'm digging it, if you had to rate it on a 0-10 scale of work needed where would it fall? I've seen it in the classifieds just passed it over many times because it looks like it needs more work than what it's worth.
To me the frame is whats worth something. Is it a solid frame with the box...
I was just worried about getting an infraction for the comment, lol
Comms shouldn't be an issue. Now me an napa might be one. 6 out of the 20 bosh type relays I got today are bad. Lucky I tested them on the bench before putting them into service. Would have been blown fuses, fried wires for sure.
If you look through this thread I'm sure you'll find what your looking for http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?129223-Official-2014-SS-Georgia-Rally-Amateur-Radio-Communications-Thread
j/k, shouldn't be a problem
Nvis won't really help with the woods if it is real dense. Now of the station in the woods has a nice opening and can setup a portable nvis it could possibly work.
Well, someone read the manual, lol
Never cold see myself actually sending off for the gmrs license. Seemed like a joke to me given the amount of radios being sold with frs/gmrs capabilities.
It's like murs, at one point in time you had to have a license if I remember correctly. Now it's just...
