I have cutout fiberglass flares already and I wanna get a 6 inch lift, 39.5 boggers, and a locker for the front. eventually rear discs too and maybe crossover steering. I wanna check yours out.
last night I picked up my first M1008 from a friends house that was working on it for me. He pulled th 6.2 out and installed the 350SBC and 700R4 (thanks kenny). it has taken him over a year so I picked it up to finish the rest myself. driveshafts and some wiring.
last night I took the 543 and 105 to get a multi out of a parts truck. they trew all my old 9.00r20's in there that were laying around. Truck ran great after sitting since last Nov.. Started right up. I still need to find out my my brake lock stopped working. worked when I got the truck, used it...
Hey I am looking to get a set of 4 tires (only) that are for a 16.5" rim, the smaller the tire the better as long as all 4 are the same size. I would take some with rims if I had too. Looking for something like a 225 or similar. no tread needed
I bought a little right angle screw driver and tried to turn it last night. didn't budge. that is when I got to thinking I was wrong. maybe it is just stuck. any ideas on how to turn it without taking winch out?
Re: RE: Locker location
For maximum offroad traction I say the front. I would onlly do this with an air switch front axle (which you have).
I was also thinking of pulling the pins on the front springs and lettting them hangdown to get the pig out
