Man I feel like a piker. The wife and I took a leisurely ride in the deuce and spent a “C” note in fuel.
Last year the stitching for the zipper on the front flap of the cover let loose on mine. The wife mended it with some heavy duty thread.
I hadn't driven my pickup in a few weeks and went to drive it and low and behold a spider had managed to get in behind the glass on the pyrometer and build a small web on the gauge face and then went legs up. I guess they will try anywhere
If it was mine I would thoroughly clean the hubs and bearings and repack. I can't ever say I have seen a grease like that before but I haven't seen it all yet either.2cents
On a good level surface measure from the ground to the bottom of the frame rail. This will let you know if you have a suspension problem or body mount/panel alignment problem.
Would be a great time to replace the freeze plugs in the heads. Nothing worse than going through all the work and have one of those start leaking. 2cents
