His may not have been in WW2, but I read somewhere that the early test trucks were painted with left over paint from WW2. The M35 would not have had invasion stars painted on it.

From what I understand the white star stayed on the doors until the camo schemes in the 70's.

What driver mentioned was for vehicle gatherings/trips, do it alone and you will more then likely have a difference experience. I remember a post about a year and a half ago, maybe 2 years ago about a guy driving a jeep with a 50 on it through traffic and the cops were called on him.

About the only law (not really a law but common sense) I know of is not driving down the road with the guns on.

I believe there was both versions.

There were a few 2.5 ton trucks made. But were too heavy for the deuce, so they switched them out.

Unless someone changed out the motor don't be surprised if it has the multifuel, and is slow going down the road. That was one of the reasons the military stopped using them on deuces and put the body on 5 tons. (like the one in the pic I posted)

What I do is open the snipping tool, highlight the page you want to post, save it (will save as a pic), then add the attachment on here.

I would love to play with the MAZ-543M, the KrAZ-6E6316, and the DoKu. The DoKu look like a copy of one of the test vehicles that became the M274 mule. Still would be a fun toy.

If it is a 1944 then that would make an M10, not sure if the parts interchange. I don't see there would be much of a difference, but then I am not familiar with the WW2 stuff that much.
