That's to simple. You should know by now most people on here don't do things the easy way.
I had seen a 5 ton on GL a few months ago that had a box on the back with a roll up door and side doors. Actually looked pretty good.
Good found the pic....
Another thing to consider (if you have not already). The container is going to be as wide as the bed on your trucks now, so in order for it to fit you will have to cut the sides of the container which will reduce the strength of it.
Just a guess, but I would bet they figure someone else did the work and checked it out therefore bid on the better of the bunch, so it must be worth it.
First off welcome. You sure picked one of the biggest toys for a playground. as was mentioned the truck is over width (with the outer wheels on).
If you want to learn more check out the threads by dirt71.Think he has rebuilt more 10 ton trucks then I thought existed, and very detailed.
well first off....nopics
Then the wheels are different manufacturers, and eras. The hole in front of the horn is probably where the old (electric) horn was.
Makes me want to find and rent/buy the movie "Rolling Vengeance". Lifted monster machine and a military bone yard that had a bunch of M135/211's in it.
I might just have to copy that design when I get my trailer. I had seem someone make on using just a 6" long post to move their trailer around with. Similar concept, but your is more secure.
Congrats. I would venture a guess your truck had a shelter variant in the bed, that stack looks taller then the extended height cargo bows.
Interesting how your truck has the IR light on the front, and I never saw the warning decal by the air intake like that.
