Glad it worked out for ya Cary [thumbzup]
I don't have a picture of it but here's some info from the relay:
Bosch
12v
20/30A
0 332 204 151 (Bosch pn)
12033862 (GM pn)
5 blade terminal connection
You will not find this or a cross to it in a parts store. Dealership had no clue either.
For mounting puposes, if you didn't want to drill through your topper to mount the light, I've also seen them mounted on a post that is cab heigth and attached to the antennae mounting bracket. This way, you can also run the wiring through the grommet in the topper.
Don, here is the info on the strobe. Seems to be a quality unit.

Here is a not so good picture showing the USGI one that came on my cucv. They are usually 12-24v. Got another one in the garage that's going on my other 1009. I'll find out who the manufacturer is and any other info on it.
Oooooooh... I saw that one in person. It's got a hole in the block. Might as well leave it there........ lol
Seriously, good looking 1009. You're friend will love it. They are very good on fuel and have good road manners.
Use a tow bar to bring it home if you have access to one. They flat...
Hey Don. Yes, citizensoldier wheeled and dealed some stuff and this was one of the things the guy had. Got some other small cucv parts too. Hope to get it put on next week if the weather warms.
My first MV was a m1008 that I got from the DRMO at Maguire AFB in Jersey back in '93. Rust free with 32k miles on it. Had just come back from the sandbox, talcom dust everywhere. Think my bid was for $500. Drove it a couple years and sold it for $6k with 58,000 miles on it. I have a pic of it...
Did you get it????? Pics man, we want pics! FB NC had some beauts that ended last night. Prices got up there though, seems like thats the trend on everything lately. Transporting one home would be a 'no issue' if you bought from FB.
RE: Bow Storage
Went and checked mine. The end that the rod goes through looks like that. There are 2 pieces per side. 1 long piece connected to the bar and 1 shorter piece connected to the bar. The shorter piece has a loop on the end with a spring buckle attached. The longer side hooks through...
'Nother muffler question. The stock muffler inlet and outlet pipes are different than each other. They are the same diameter with flanges but one pipe is offset. According to the manual, the pipe that is offset on the muffler is the outlet side, the end with the centered pipe is the inlet. My...
