That ain't right..... :( I was actually going to bid on some of those but the funds just weren't there. If you may need any assistance let me know. Greenbriar isn't really that far from where I live.
Paypal is now accepted as well. I'd just get your Dad to set up the account and use his info to purchase. Then you could give him the money and he could sign it over to you after it is titled.
No special part #. I just looked at the batteries Walmart had and match the amperages as close as possible and made sure they were top posts. I think I paid around $120 when I got both batteries. You will have to put some cribbing in the battery box because of the size difference.
Here is a really good post about said repair. I found it because I will be doing the same thing early next month as well. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/8460-front-axle-seals-boots-stepxstep.html
Alright..... It's almost here. Who's in and who's out? I have some badly needed maintenance and repair work that I have to get done before I go. I'm hoping to get it completed the end of the month and first week of April or I won't be able to go.
Well I could do that with a VB code in the background that could do auto updates but it turns out I would have to learn how first :) This is my first try at building a database so I'm trying to make it somewhat simple for myself. Once I get it established I can tweek or do whatever after...

Hey Shad,
Sorry to hear about that. That is really messed up. I'm over here in Memphis, I could check Memphis Equipment and see what one will run you. All you have to do is pay for the steering wheel, no charge for shipping and handling. I could probably meet you some where this weekend...
I'll do what I can to honor your wish. Being a father of 3 and another on the way, it really tugs at your heart to hear of such losses. May she always stay close to your heart.
If you need some help let me know. I'm not too far from Hooks. I'd go to Harbor Freight and get the cheapo lights temporarily until you figure out what you want to do.
I noticed they had some but now they have a bunch. I think there are enough there for everyone :) I may have to purchase some. I may also be interested in the splitting thing too.
I love this site and think improvement is a great thing. I'm also willing to help out in any way possible to improve it. I'm in favor of the members map as well, especially for those doing recoveries or long trips. I was also wondering about state specific forums, that way laws, events...
If anyone in AR is interested I found someone to buy used 55 gal plastic and metal barrels from along with 300 gal plastic totes. He charges $10 for the barrels and $65 for the totes. Not bad really. Most have had 15w 30 oil in them anyways. I know the barrels I got had about 1 or 2 gals...
