Took my wheel and tire to the shop to get the grommet replace, they got the wheel taken apart in a jiffy, I had just gotten home, got a call apparently the turret valve had gotten hit somehow and bent, no wonder it was leaking. anyway I tried Eriks and a couple other websites, anyone know where...
Same here, I filled up the saddle with PB blaster. Still had to pound them out.
Here's another place that will make you new ubolts, think I was quoted about $15-17 a piece.

And be quiet with those design flaw words. they're fightin words with some.
You didn't read the bright yellow placard? You're going to pay for the 15th anniversary miss...... Congrats to you and yours on the 15th! Not a lot make it nowadays. We just had our 25th, Nov. 3rd.
I use a long pole from an old trampoline to dismount them (put underneath as a lever)and a piece of wood to roll them onto and wiggle my way onto the studs. Been able to do them by myself so far. WISH I had a forklift. I have yet to get my rims apart but looks like the way to do it!
Been trying to talk my wife into a "parts" truck, but she sees through that one. One parts truck would turn into a running vehicle needing a parts truck...... Like the shampoo commecial......
Good deal! Hope it's not a nightmare for you and the other guys. I don't like the sound of attempts were made to jump the truck unsuccessfully, but that could mean the batteries are just flat out dead too. You'll probably end up with a good one with two new batteries. I'm hoping anyway. Good...
WOW... Unless the GL anti-rust cameras are working extremely well, I can't even see any rust on the wheel studs! That looks sweet! Only thing missing is the winch.... :)
What'd you pay if you don't mind? I paid $4900 for mine and it has rusty roof.
I can post a pic in the initial post, but when I edit the post to add some more no matter what I do I it just puts a link in there rather than showing the pic. What's the magical trick?
You can adapt just about anything. It's been a long time since I built my 1919 and for the life of me I can't remember what the designation for this tripod is nor the guy who built the adapter for me.
Pretty sure it's for a M240 and will work for M60 too.
My daughter on a M240, looks like the...
Thanks for checking on it Jeff. Still insane, but only half insane now! Time to watch GL auctions, if they're getting rid of A3's I assume bearings and parts will follow?
Exactly. It's not leaking out the back of the hub, just venting at the top of the axle and I'm not sure it does it when hot(driven), just when I am pumping up the tire without driving, though that is NOT confirmed as yet.
That's what I'm thinking, outer seal or axle nut not tight, though the...
