    Cheap ac

I found the air conditioning in my deuce about a week after getting it. There are levers at knee level on both the drivers and passengers side. Here in MN we have air conditioning at least 6 months of the year anyway. Your post brings up a good question though. How hard would it be to add a...

Yeah that's no *&(^ ! I hope it does Jay, cause the system is great. Works fine on my truck and I LIKE IT. Deflates, inflates as the head tells it too. BTW Ross, sorry for hijacking your thread, it really took a turn from tranny to CTIS.

    M35A3 Owners unite

Hey Ross, I tried to copy and paste from the PDF. Don't sweat the reading from the stick, the first time. Download and read TM 9-2320-386-10 read page 2-34 and 2-34.1 I checked it cold not running myself and said WTF? When I read the directions It was right on the money. Also somewhere I read...

I just noticed, you're supposed to drive 3-5 miles(or maybe kilometers) before turning CTIS on according to the operators manual for better sealing, maybe that's why I'm getting venting? I've been doing it cold, cause of a slow leaking wheel oring( about a day or two tire goes flat) I'll have...

Now that's a bearing! Thanks for the tip on not washing. I always assumed the opposite!

    M35A3 Owners unite

Are you guys sure? I'm screwed then. Everytime I use CTIS I get venting from at least my rear axle(two vents on top of axle) while the middle tire I have a leak on is filling. I thought that would be how ctis keeps other tires from overinflating for some stupid reason. Crap. Guess my time and...

How different are these bearings a substitute couldn't be found and modified if necessary?

Where did you get the outer wheel seals? And what adhesive did you use?

M35A3 rear wheel bearing packing, with photos

What's the difference in the A2 to A3 bearings? Could the A2 be modifed or maybe another manufacturer would produce these cheaper? $700 a bearing is just crazy. Exactly what I'd expect though for a military sale.....

    Gensets from GL today

Everything seems to have gone up, 5 tons were less than my deuce I bought a couple months ago, now they're the same price.

I'm thinking both....My wife isn't going to be happy, but I'm mulling over buying an A2 to go along with the A3.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got all my dogbones done, brake line replaced and bled, finally got some drive time yesterday and today. The grin on my face? Priceless.

Looks like you got a diamond in a pile of coal. I just popped over to the GSA site to take a look, all the MV's were junk, stripped and broken.

I LIKE! I sure could use a dumper. Has anyone converted their deuce to a dump that you know of?

Deuce leaning noticably to right without spare?

Thanks for the offer! All's good. After driving it the leaning is minimal now, and I was getting bent out of shape over nothing. When I back up straight or forward the axles are in line. Just didn't realize how much they twist around when turning. After losing that dogbone, I'm looking at...

Holy cow, so if i need to replace a bunch of bearings it cost more than the truck in the first place! Thanks for the pics, perfect timing I may have to do one myself.
