When you click on search look under the "show posts" "show threads" buttons. It says Advanced Search in yellow, click on that. It allows you to narrow down your search parameters to specific forums like "trailers"
Also when doing a search put a + inbetween multiple words. (surge+brake) that...

In other words its an order put out to change or correct something. The tow bars had a MWO to put collars on them to strengthen them. Most trucks have a little triangle shaped tag on the drivers seat that is a MWO to install seat belts.
If the law says you dont need it, why apply for it?
Other wise throw some civy lights on it (temporarily) and remove the data plate, make your own with your vin number but add a zero at the front or end and get a home built trailer title.
I'm more interested in seeing what these look like in a year or 2. They look great now and I was/am going to paint my vehicles with it if it doesnt fade really fast.
:ditto: Get a M818 with winch and add a 5th wheel towing device.
Cheaper, lighter, ans less complicated.
Edit: there are 5th wheel towing devices that have the underwheel/frame set up, not just a wrecker boom.
Aw come on DH do you really think we need to go thru this again?

Back on topic. (Sort of) Never turn your back when doing a recovery with cable, used or new. I am almost certain this cable had been inspected and thought to be good. Accidents happen.
Everytime I see this, I am impressed (beyond belief) by that sailor that jumps the cable, twice.
To add to your confusion, some people have put the #20,000 winch on to a deuce. (its easy to spot though, they are completely different looking winches)
One question, Do you wear your seat belt or are you afraid you will be trapped in a burning vehicle by it?
I know what you mean by the comment you made. I wear glasses and often do not wear safety glasses like I should and know what you mean by stuff getting in behind them.
As Long as he stays off road with it I dont care.........But I wouldn't ride with him. Even though that a slow truck, if he did manage to get it up to any sort of speed (open field drag racing) and things go wrong and he gets it turned sharp those block will fold over and cause the front end to...

If you read that thread you will see that the point on the 250 that goes between the wheel wells is actually slightly smaller than the 48" measured at the front or rear. True a 250 will not slide into an A2 but it "may" fit if you have the abillity to drop it in from the top.
I'm not so...
