I'm curious to see what happened....... Now I have a slobber problem with my second deuce. I'll probably start simple with changing the oil and making sure its not over filled. Does any one have any other suggestions on the blow by tube slobber problem?

I'm adding to it again. 2 more thumbs up for Sherman. He is awesome to deal with. I've never had any issues and if I have he is easy to work with to get them straight.

I'm using a 24 VDC 10 amp Allen Bradley relay. We use them at work so I grabbed a few that were laying around along with some bases. Any brand relay will do.

I had the flasher issue as well and I did the cranetruck fix and no problems whatsoever. Its not a hard fix either.

So where would one get a separator from? I'm not looking at anything elaborate. I haven't really figured out if I'll filter before and after or just after I store it. I figure the water and oil will separate and any large particles will sink to the bottom of my tank. I was going to just get...

I installed the flasher unit mod on my deuce when I toasted my turn signal unit. So far no problems. While I was at it I made sure all my grounds were good and clean.

I would go with a rebuild or a used one. I found someone close to me that sold me a used one for a wee bit over $400. Its a lot cheaper if you can get it locally or fairly close because shipping will be horrible. There may be some for sale on here too. I have some quotes for some new ones...

I have a similar issue with mine. My data plate is the original and the manufacturer's name is faded really bad to where I can't tell what it is.

Yeah I agree. Sherman does an outstanding job here in Arkansas. I've been over there to Camp Robinson several times and he is really good about helping out. BTW nice looking deuce :)

Thanks cbvet. I thought it was that one but I wanted to be sure. I thought it would be on top and not that low. I know for sure that it is gear oil because I did the sniff test and checked my brake fluid level and it was good. I appreciate the help.
