I just happen to have one in the backyard it is about 6 foot long and about 45 inches wide. I don't remember the weight but it IS heavy. I brought mine home on a regular 16 foot trailer but it made the M816 lean over I picked it up. Mine is for sale, the tag read "knocking and fuel in...

truck
I was thinking Ken told me he had you to paint it but couldn't remember for sure, so the best I could do was give you credit for the sale. :D
He loves the truck and there been no problem that I've heard about. The only problem is, he hadn't drove it up here so I can play with it. Wayne
help
If it turn out it won't crank and to cover all bases, before going call around local and see if you can find a wrecker outfit that will move it (on short notice) and store in their yard till you get back. It might save some headaches with the problems nowadays on getting on base and G/L...
roof
Well, if you have more time than money, you could try the stud thing .
with some JB Weld
If you are going to be grinding the paint of anyway the suction cup will work if it not too close to the edge. Wayne

dent
If you can not bump it from the inside, a suction cup may work but if it has CARC I don't know if it will get a grip. If nothing else will work, then drill a hole and use the old slide-hammer. Wayne
doors
Doors are heavy and will sag to the rear due to age, if your has screws on the hinges you may be able to loosen them and move the doors up some Be sure to mark the original positions before doing anything. Some Chevys have welded hinges, then about all you can do is use a bottle jack and...
M62
My Friend down in Fla. has got his truck and sent me some pictures of it. He's had it repainted from the tan color that Dave at Eastern had it in. You can see his M109 on the other side of it. He has a Army Surplus store in Coco Beach Fla. and uses them as mainly for display. Wayne
TM
TM for the A2 should be the 9-2330-213-14&P and is in the correct order on the list. It covers the A1. A2 and A2C in the M105.
The A3 is TM 9-2330-324-14&P I can only guess that they changed the TM number because this one covers the M105A3 only. Wayne
bed
You might get 200 for the top. But unfortunately when you have something like that, nobody will need one. Now the day after you get rid of it (at a loss of course) there will be two or three that just will have to have it at twice what you were asking to start with. :D
Just sit it on some...
