I might just be missing this but was a pickup location given? Hard to see who is along the route if you don't know where "there" is.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

And now for your next trick (drumroll please). Impressive. I think I would have bumbled and fumbled and in the end, hooked it to a towbar and taken to TWright. I barely pass CUCV 102. Wish I were a college level CUCV mechanic.

How much is a good canvas for an M101 worth?

I would agree with all above except it I think the bows are wood. If so, that detracts from the value. Unless they are absolutely NOS wood bows, then it would be better to take the wood off, clean and paint the metal and make 5-10 a piece. Non-NOS wood bows complete? Good luck, kinda like...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

It looks normal but then again, it looks too perfect. Need to break a couple of vacuum cleaner bags all over it and drive it around on a dusty road, then it will look National Guard or Army Reserve normal or active Army normal even.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Gotta tell ya, if you're worried that the shell makes it look "unmilitary", in the latter half of life for these many did have shells put on them by the National Guard OMS or UTES shops or the Army Reserve ECS or AMSA shops. Looks normal to me.

    DRASH units Generators. Any Info?

I'll most likely swing by GA on my way to Aberdeen to pick mine up and assuming I do, I'll have it for sale at Aberdeen. NOTE: Batteries not included, meaning there won't be batteries in it. Other than that, I have no pics, I don't have a clue about condition, operation, etc, etc, etc.

I honestly love getting buzzed but give me some notice....

I guess I could get a job in the AWS as a volunteer observer....in 1941. My weaker area is the WWII Soviet Yaks and Migs. Not sure if I could get the Yak 1 vs 9 vs whatever correct.

Gebirgsoldat - Owns CUCV Blazer from California

Real siimple for the CUCV. I buy the brakes, belts, filters, etc when I need them from O'Reilly's or other similar store. The FAQ section has a cross reference list. In addition, the -20P and -34P has the cage code and mfg of all the parts. Most are still available but there are a couple of...
