WOW! It is rare to find the 24v system in place in these trucks! Speedo has been replaced, the originals did not have kilometers. Data tag on dash? an M882 would have antenna mount holes in 3 locations on the bed sides, (bed could have been changed though) as for the year, sometimes government...

Looked in da book the 60 amp vs 100 amp is the 24v generator The pic in the link might be an M880 with a shelter set in the back can't see the channel up front in that pic. I have not seen a M884 with a tailgate, maybe they did come with them, but it sure makes it hard to get in the back door...

Ok differences from a M882 (from memory) Rear springs, overload setup like on a 1 ton No Tailgate, but two angular braces which also keep shelter from sliding out a "C" channel running across the front of the bed, to hold shelter down Antenna do not mount on bed side like M882. (I think)...

In my experiences with these trucks. The fuel pickup in the tank and the fuel lines get quite rusty from just sitting. This rust restricts the flow of fuel, making the pump work harder. The rust particles get sucked into the fuel pump damaging it. While it can suck fuel through a shor clean line...

Yes and no, the9.50-16.5 & 9.50R16.5 and the 8.75R16.5 are strange and don't follow that rule they are 75% sidewall. Not 100% like the military tires. as for the 900-16 NDT/NDCC even the XZL's they should be 34" but they range from 35.5 to 36.3 diameter, depending on brand, go...

Good tips! These are NOS M880 cross members NSN 2510-01-121-2090, P/N 3823815 The skid plate P/N is 4213116 per my TM, yet no cross to a NSN :?

I got a line on the cross member(NOS) for the skid plate, he has several. never seen a skid plate yet though. Would be interested in 2 or 3 of them (skid plates) if anyone knows where to find them.
