My driving is almost all paved roads so I don't need the 6X6 99.8 % of the time. The only time I have needed the 6X6 was last winter when we had 24+ inches of snow. :grin: For me the reduced wear on tires and drive train would be a plus. Just my 2cents
Both of my front lines were hard to get loose. Applied a sparing amount of heat, tapped around the nut several times and used a tubing / flare nut wrench to break them loose.
I have removed and installed my cargo cover 2 ~ 3 times myself. Not a fun job but can be done without to much trouble. My A2 doesn't have any storage for the bows either. As the others have suggested I would just leave it at home and not have to worry about it. 2cents
I would say that according to this FAQ from the California Gov. site your Deuce is not subject to the smog check.

Sounds like the same crap I went through with BoA. I will never have any dealings with them again. After 12+ years of a perfect history they treated me like some kind of dead beat. 2cents
