:???: Why do people feel compelled to "hint" to where they are referencing their questions from? Why can people not just ask: "has anyone ever heard of an M835?":soapbox:
Hmmm. tbearatkin, dont know what to tell you. I went to that thread, clicked on your link and it took me to youtube. I then proceeded to just copy the http://www.youtube.com/watch..(and so on)........ And then came back to this thread and pasted it in the reply message box and the embeded video...
Does it actually move backwards? The tires move and all, or are you feeling the truck lurch or move backwards and pushing in the clutch immediatly to prevent further damage?
Welcome from Kansas.
I am amazed that we have something like 30'000 members and the name UncleSam was available. :-P On a Ford or Chevy vehicle site I can see it but here? At On the Webs most poplular MILITARY vehicle site.
Yep, Just copy the URL or what ever you call that at the top of the page that says http://www..................... Then go into your post and paste that in the message box.
Spoon feeding people info rather than having them figure out how the site works has turned good, no great people away as well.
If we answer a question everytime it is asked will do nothing but fill up the servers much faster. Imagine today if you tried to search for something you might get...
Thats because were're hovering over those trucks like buzzards waiting to get our hands on those parts. (not me though, I haven't been bitten by the CUCV bug yet)
I hear ya on priming those things after changing the filters. The TM says something like it should take 2 min. I bet I pumped mine for a good 15-20 min before my arm got numb.
Well at first I was going to say no. You would still have to maching out the centers and add in the 6lug adapter plate. Thats why HEMMT wheels are so exspensive, the machine work. But now that I think about it, I do not know if the deuce combat rims and the 5ton combat rims share the same bolt...
FMTV+WHEEL resulted in this: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/506134-post9.html from this thread http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce-modification-hot-rodding/45113-official-deuce-aftermarket-wheel-thread.html
No.
Ever hear the phrase: "teach a man to fish"
As for your first ? No, not all 5ton rims are the same. There are split-ring type just like the deuce, but with 10 lug holes rather than 6. There are HEMTT rims and 5ton combat rims. Also there are FMTV wheels. All have 10 lug centers.
