awesome, thanks for the help. now I know why my buddies 5 ton pit truck had steel rods welded across the ends of the torque arm stud. A bolt coming loose must be a somewhat common thing when they are being worked hard.
ps on the 203. if you get a part time kit for the 203 you have to drive with 4wd on for a little while once a week to get proper lubrication in the t-case.
they make a plastic wrap, for wear. it covers most of the hose.
I think they also make a bacl cloth type of cover. not sure what it is meant for. but I have seen it.
I don't know where to get any of this stuff
I'm super helpful. huh?
I had to replace one hose so far on two wreckers. alot of the hoses look like they have been replaced on both trucks so I only have 2-3 that are likely to break.
I had to pay 80 -100 for my hose too.
welcome to the club.
I bet the crane owners club and the broken hydro hose club has the same...
1 steer and 1 drive axle is worth @ $1000. If it was here in MI I would buy it cheap and part it out. Mudbogger guys want the axles all the time. Chucks Trucks in FL will buy as many as you have for $1000.
