I think the horn on my M543 is very loud. The one on my deuce doesn't work so I can't compare. they look the same. are they different?
are they hooked to the truck? if they are hooked to the truck charge and unhook. that way you can find out if something on the truck is doing it.
or do they just die after sitting on the floor for a while? buy one of those hydrometer thingys only 5 buck or so.
you could make a square box and make an angled mounting plate that would work on both sides. just flip it over for the other side. then the boxes would be the same too.

right, but when you are going down the road they are all going to be going the same speed. the one connected wheel will be spinning as fast as the other wheels on the drive axle. both carriers are going to be going the same speed too. the spiders in the tag axle...

I would like to get 46 XML's for my deuce. I like that tread as much or better than xl. it has big side lugs and is not directional.
I have the XL's on one of my 5 tons and they seem to work goood. I never drive the xl's on the road. I have the goodyears on the front of my wrecker but only for a week so no experience there.
to sum it up the xl's seem to be great offroad and that is all I know.
