I'm 70 miles from my truck. My neighbor has a lowboy and a truck to pull it with. Buying a truck from the local dealer at twice the price is a gamble too, isn't it?.
My two cents, one with inflation, There is a real nice M35A3 with bows and perfect canvas at a local dealer, only thing I saw wrong with it was a minor issue, drivers side door handle is a little funky.
They want $9995 for it. That's what really got me interested almost to the point of buying...
Thank you so much sir! I have some of the coiled air line, just need to buy a glad hand and whatever threading adaptor to the air chuck, probably have it all in my garage except the glad hand.....Think my employer would mind if one of their tractors was missing a glad hand? ;) Just kidding, I'm...
I have at least one flat from the video of my GL M35A3, I'm not going to assume the CTIS will fill it up, or the special tool is in the vehicle to fill it from the rear air.
I'm taking a generator and compressor when my EUC is approved, is there some special air chuck available I need if...
I got a binder from State Farm..it was $39 a month for liability in MN, then I checked the binder, they had it marked for over 20,000 GVW and a single rear drive axle, when I corrected them it dropped to $29 a month.
I've got a checklist of things I'll be taking... :) It's a pretty long list, but any pointers are welcome.....
1. Invoice 2. Pictures of the truck from GL site 3. Contact numbers for GL and the site. 4.tools 5. Generator 6. Compressor/airchuck 7. DOT5 8. Motor Oil 9. antifreeze
10.Insurance info...
The serial number on the invoice is the 15 digit number? Does that sound right?
I won't be able to see the vehicle till I pick it up, got insurance on it using the 15 digit number so I'm ready to go. Will of course verify it and if not correct, call my insurance company before moving it.
Okay thanks guys, next question...Is the serial number on the invoice? I assume I'll need that to get insurance taken care of? Or do I just use the 50XXXX number from the dash? I haven't seen the vehicle in person.
I'm wondering since they don't supply the SP97 or whatever it is until well after you remove the item, how do you guys legally drive the vehicle home?
I'm hoping to simply drive mine the 68 miles home but don't you need the title to get plates ect? or can you drive it home with the "bill of...
That fast???? Man I better get ready, I wasn't far behind you.. 8-25-11
My EUC finally went submitted on 8-30-11
First they requested an export thingy which I didn't see any directions to do that... Then my license pic wasn't big enough, then they couldn't find my export form, had to resend...
On the AAA RV coverage the chart shows vehicles with dual batteries....... I'm gonna get clarification on whether they do or don't, we have triple A, and will upgrade if it covers the deuce...
How did you get an invoice before the EUC approval? According to the GL site my invoice won't be there until the EUC goes through?
Never mind, I see now, I can download it without the paid in full....
Yeah, One reason I chose that one after the winch truck went a little more than I wanted to pay for my first truck. I didn't get time off from work to personally inspect it.
Located about 70 miles from my home, so should be a breeze.......knocking on my desk.....
They all were M35A3's low...
Here's my truck as soon as the EUC goes through.
I was bidding on a winch truck, even had permission to go to 8K to get it, but didn't want to spend more than 5K on my first truck. The winch truck went for a little over 6K, I got mine for under 5K.
It was a great day. My second pick. How did I...
