Once you have the spring and ball bearing, I assume you just insert the spring and ball bearing into the deep hole and hold it in place with a pin until the yoke pin slides into place. Is that correct?
I have two shackle and pin connectors on my deuce and I have a question about how they should be connected. The parts (see photo) have the pin going into the shackle but there is no component holding the pin in. It seems like there should be some type of detent. What am I missing?
Being that this is my first deuce and TM 10 does not answer this question directly, here goes.
My light and turn signals work fine but I have two questions.....
First, do you have to turn on the light switch for the turn signals to work?
Second, do you have to manually return the turn signal...
Great work Clinto. I appreciate the effort and share the frustration of many threads not achieving closure. I have never rebuilt an airpack but need to and will be glad to order one once I hear if this is the right one. I will call and see what the folks can tell me.
Ever since I got my deuce I have been wondering how larger drivers get comfortable in the drivers seat. I am 5'9" and normal weight and there is not much room between the spring seat and the steering wheel. How do larger drivers fit? Oh! and yes I have adjusted it every way possible.
