I think the alt and inverter would be better.That way your Htz would not change .Not as dependet on rpm.- nk14zp

Ready for the Cummins!
Try the h1c first with out an aftercooler I had to watch egt's with stock inj and pump turned up to lock coler .Had the 18.5 cm h1c. -

Pumpkin Problems
How are your plug wires? I cracked a piston with a bad plug wire then blow by blew oil off crank then a rod came out that was on a IH345 in a bus. -

Is it in high range? Even with 4.88 gears it should go faster than that.And yes it has a governor all diesels do.- nk14zp

Belt whine... how do I tighten them?
You move the alts to tighten the belts .The other belt you say you move the power steering pump.Not the easyist thing to do -
