According to their web site, the bits are still made in Germany. Rodman is apparently the exclusive U.S distributor.... I looked around on ebay and what not and didn't find anything similar out there. Only carbide tip masonry bits which aren't comparable for drilling steel.

Hello Johnray. Are you talking about lining the engine/fan cover on a non-ASK machine? If so I don't think it would be worth your time and effort. Simply covering the inside of the fan cover will probably do little or nothing towards reducing sound because it only covers the end of the motor...

Looks like a universal data plate. You can't produce both 400hz and 50/60hz from the same machine. I believe that data plate was used on both -004A and -113A in addition to another data plate. There should also be another one listing the model number, manufacturer, date of manufacture...

The problem you're going to run into is that typically the only way to remove the scratches is to color sand ( 1500 grit ) and buff them out with compound and a buffer.... however, on a semi gloss finish this will also turn that area into a gloss finish. aua The only possibility I can think of...
