I just posted a bunch of similar photos of the lot that replaced this one. It was the one that had all the rebuilt M16 halftracks in it along with other stuff. Upsetting what we destroyed.

All I can say is I ordered a set off of 6.5l and they did not fit the CUCV. The ones in the photo look like the small spade but they weren't. In the process of getting my money back (but out the shipping cost which was $9 for them to ship to me but only half that to ship them back to them)...
Here's another question about this. After starting the vehicle the battery switch is turned off (ie so you don't hear the air buzzer), how does this affect the battery??
Thanks Will. I definately need to do a end to end check of the electrical system. Since I went to the school for the mechanically declined, I wouldn't doubt I hooked up something wrong on the slave recept. Most would say that's impossible, uh, you haven't attended the same school I did...
Chuck,
If Mark can't find his, let me know. I just bought one and luckly never used it. Figured it was better to have on hand than not. If I had not had it, I would probably have had 8 swollen plugs knowing my luck (LOL).
As for the collector value, I would say, yes it would affect the value. The 1031 is much more rare than a 1008 (pickup). Assuming the box is not rotted out you should be able to sell the 1031, buy a 1008, and still have change left over.
I have a couple pair of extra D rings laying around. PM me if you need them.
I don't have the extension tubes here, they are still up in Maryland on the vehicles. Once I get those vehicles, I will have several pairs of those.
I have about another 14K pounds of stuff to get south before year end. I get to claim it on my taxes and need this break this year versus next. Thanks all. I have now sat down with a large rum and diet coke. That will help....sort of.
So I got my deuce from my storage location this Friday. Last I was there I was just getting started changing a tire prior trouble shooting the electrical system to determine why my batteries died enroute to Warner Robins over a month ago. Remember the tire got me and I've spent over a month...
