What are you trying to decode? Year? Mfg?
Try the 2009 vin info thread. Give me time to answer what's on there. I've got some issues right now and want to be precise.
Blood type is O Neg. If folks were stationed in Germany/Europe during the 80's, you can't give blood due to potential exposure to mad cow. But yes, folks should give blood if they can. IF (big IF) we deploy another 40K troops, we need to do something. Hey, maybe deuce rides if you donate...
Just to catch everyone up. Keep in mind I am on blood thinners.
I screwed up 2 weeks ago. While dropping the spare on my deuce, I did something I knew better and have read and have been warned not to do. I didn't have a solid grip on my tire iron holding my spare up and it came around and...
Anybody have a spare set of Wellman 070 glowplugs for sale? PM me if you do.
The ones I got from egay were the wrong ones.
Looks like I may have to crack start the truck in the morning/this week until I can get them in and replaced.
Finally got around to installing a light set plug in my CUCV yesterday while repairing the heater switch. It's a daisy chain light from a command post vehicle that I've had for years. I think it is similar to the wrecker work light but not sure if it is the same plug or not.
Works good and...
Don't worry, there's a slug of them getting ripe. And when they are ripe, Battle Creek will release them and we can all go out an pay panick prices for them. This happened last year and folks paid 2-3 x as much for the trucks and what was being paid just prior to the hold.
First would be to have that checked with your local LEO. Most of these inspection places are following a checklist that is made for modern vehicles and older vehicles never had them. I remember my parents 1966 station wagon never had one cause I remember my Mom gripping about not having one...
Wish I was in better shape for the event. My family illness issues and battle scar from fighting my truck kept me from coherently being at the event. I'm usually a lot more chatty. Can't wait for next year and we're less than a week after the event.
Kenny,
That was me. Had been planning to send them to you and CliffW for ages. Picked those up in Korea in March. Didn't remember them until I was finished loading and getting into the truck to move out. The guy sewing them forgot the W on Cliffs but he shouldn't feel bad, Maddawgs was...

I thought the same thing after first saying that's awesome. I think i posted before that John Wayne had a yacht that was a former WWII minesweeper. That boat was 120' and would have been a PITA to maintain but it sure would be cool if I had the money to have it done for me and crewed for me and...
My understanding is natural disaster in his neck of the woods with anywhere from 3-30 days out of the house and not using lodging. Because the house may not be there anymore and it'll take 30 days to make other arrangements.
