The glow plug controler card in the cucv's sucks to put it nice. I found that mine would not start after it was colder then 50 out. The thing to do it put a toggle/whatever you want switch in there. Just bypass the card and controll them your self. As of using starting fluid... well i have done...

The JP4 and diesel does cause a flame at the exhaust. As soon as the very hot unburned fuel hits the air, it lights up. I too am starting to burn the tips of my exhaust pipe. I installed the stainless pipes from saturn surplus and they are holding up just fine.. but the steel pipe/tip is a junker.

that would be a 6602 gasser. Im glad to see that the motor has enough power to make that truck clip along.. My friend has a m54 and we have a set of the 14:00 xl's that are going on there in a couple weeks. make me feel better about sticking that big of a tire on that truck now

Timpken is the cv axle type, the gas motors do have the 1 to 1 drive trans in them. the pto will bolt up, have no idea on the fording stack.. try the "fording deuce" in the vids, the black and white vid.. maybe you can see something there.

I just flat towed my M220 40 miles and it was pushing my M35 around all over the place... A 715 towing a Deuce?? Umm I dont know if I would do that.. And if I did I would keep it about 25 MPH!! thats alot of steel pushing on that little 715.... Take it ez man

hmm I dont know if you would want to tell the world about my trafic no no's. Sounds a little reckless. Now having said that I too have hit a lighted plastic barrel, but with my plow truck. We were doing around 60 mph and the blade just clipped it and it went about 50 feet till my apartment...

even in cars that take led gas.. as long as you dont race them the seats are good to go. its only under really high heat do the seats start to get soft.

when i was towing my friends 5 ton with the 6602 gasser starting out in 1st was not a problem and top speed was about 45 mph. the only thing is that the 5 ton is so heave it will really push the rear end of the deuce around when turning. I think if you put 5k pounds of whatever in the back it...
