So I have ordered a dorman hose (H41221) but it won't make it in until tomorrow (hopefully). I ordered a Napa UP 36512 because it was mentioned it would fit. It does not fit at all. To further complicate things, the Raybestos cross reference says this matches the H41221.
The Dorman...
I'm going to be adding power steering to my truck. So I'll be installing a LDS PS pump. But one could also build a bracket and hang a GM style PS pump too if you needed.
I plan to mount my MC/Hydro-max booster to the firewall. I'm going to use pillow blocks to hang a 1" shaft from the...

I've explained it in post #83. You have to have two air packs.
What fleetmech mentioned and jeepsinker is using a air actuated MC from a trailer to split the brake system. My concern is that if you lose the main MC, you've lost your trailer brake MC. Because no fluid pressure into the...
Flair wrench for sure.
If the lines are trash, cut them at the fitting and use a 6 point socket.
I also like to take a small propane torch and heat up the fitting (not melting hot, but enough to help loosen them) female side. That causes it to expand outward and helps loosen the male side...
Did you mean to post this in the other thread?
I personally would weld it together instead of bolting it. Also this entire endevour is worth it. My hardline failed between the tandems and the t-case today. Thankfully it was in my driveway and I was intentionally testing it.
Use the guy Clinto uses to trailer it. But maybe see if you could barter with him. See if buying a affordable winch would be exchanged for the transport or part of it.
No, because you'd have to route both brake lines into a single line if you only have one airpack. The air system and tanks are just to supply air to the airpacks.
Edit:
Here's a diagram from the brake line side of things and how the normal system works. 21-23 is the line out of the single...
The electric pump is a backup in the event there's no pressure from the PS pump. In that video I could see the hyd. line feeding into it. And he had a waterloo PS setup, so I'm sure he had the hyd hooked up.
