Congrats microjeep. We miss you. :( I drove by a place we met up a few year ago in Kennesaw, GA. He was getting fitted for a tuxedo that day for a wedding. I was thinking about him this afternoon.

I would like to nominate Microjeep's M1009 in his honor. He voted for my CUCV back in October, sadly he left us in November. I'm not sure, but I think it's probably the last MV he drove to an event.

I did once, but the rims were pretty narrow and it crowned the tires badly. I swapped over to some aluminum rims after that. 16.5" rims that is. You should NEVER put HMMWV tires on a 16" rim.

I better get to campaigning! Besides asking for your vote today on my birthday. What can I offer to gain more votes for a CUCV? How about a CUCV that actually works from time to time? Maybe works too hard sometimes? Or maybe the driver just drives it too hard?

Got it moved. The spring/plunger goes in the middle of the injection pump shaft. Here's a pic I stole from ebay...

My low coolant module is starting to act up these days now too. I think I'll unplug it the next time I'm in the truck. I've got a mechanical temp gauge.

As time goes on, I've personally found those capacitors to cause more trouble than good. The horn cap failed, and the wiper caps were causing a slow wipe. I removed both of those and the horn/wipers resumed working correctly. I removed the cap off the alternator too. Given how advanced...
